WHAT IS THE COASTAL FAIRFIELD COUNTY CONVENTION & VISITOR BUREAU?
Created in 1993 by the Connecticut General Assembly, the Convention & Visitor Bureau is a not-for-profit economic development, sales and marketing organization representing the fifteen communities of southwestern Connecticut. These communities include the cities of Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport, and Shelton and the towns of Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Wilton, Westport,Weston, Fairfield, Easton, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull. The Bureau represents all travel and tourism-related businesses, marketing these businesses
to domestic and international leisure travelers, meeting planners, tour operators, sporting event organizers, the film industry, travel agents, and travel/trade media.
