Celebrity chef Alessandro Stratta will be honored at the 27th annual Great Chefs on Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich to benefit the wellness programs offered by Community Health at Greenwich Hospital. Stratta just opened his first Manhattan restaurant, the rustic-Italian Bigoli in Greenwich Village. Television viewers know the award-winning chef as a featured guest on Iron Chef USA and Bravo's Top Chef Masters. He comes to New York after years of showcasing his talents at Wynn Las Vegas as executive chef of two namesake restaurants.
