Rather than producing many single sheets, the emphasis will be on combining and altering pulps to build up rich papers. C.J. Toth catamaran for a cruise to the island then tour the lighthouse, observe wildlife in their natural habitat in the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge, hunt for shells along the beach, dine on a picnic lunch, play on the lawns around the lighthouse and just have a good time. The lighthouse is open to visitors for daily tours, however, the tower section of the lighthouse is closed for renovations. Your boat leaves from the Sheffield Island Lighthouse dock located at the corner of North Water Street and Washington Street in Historic South Norwalk. Parking is available adjacent to the dock and the Norwalk Maritime Center Garage. Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended. Round-trip ferry tickets are $25.00 adults ... $15.00 children ages 4-12 ... FREE children ages 3 and younger. Check website for dates and times. Most days the vessel goes out at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. Tickets online or by phone. Reservations suggested.

A video microscope and touch tank on board enhance observations.
