History Comes Alive on Historic November Weekend--November 5th, 6th and 7th--Locations: Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT (Nov. 5th & 6th)--Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT (Nov. 7th)
Keeler Tavern and Wilton Historical Society Team Together--Patriots, tavern keepers, architects and traitors will come to life on November 5th, 6th and 7th as the Keeler Tavern Museum and the Wilton Historical Society present a series of vignettes featuring notable individuals who lived or passed through our communities long ago. At the Keeler Tavern Museum "Lantern Light Tours" will offer a lantern-lit walk through period rooms, where costumed actors will portray some of the property's notable residents. The series finale of the weekend will take place at the Wilton Historical Society where two historical re-enactors will present "Rendezvous with Treason." a compelling portrayal of America's most notorious traitor, Benedict Arnold, and his accomplice, British Major John Andre.

Lantern Light Tours--
Mulled cider and cookies will be waiting as part of the Keeler Tavern Museum's welcome to visitors on November 5th and 6th. Tours originate in the Garden House every ten minutes from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $12.00 for members, $15.00 for non-members, and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Reservations are suggested. Call 203-438-5485 Mon.-Fri. 9AM to 3 PM for information.

Hot air rises while cold air sinks. Hot air molecules are further apart than cold air molecules. We will watch the affects of hot and cold air on a balloon. When this is finished we will make our own hot air balloon that will be launched with a hair dryer.

Wednesday Science activities are available once a month. Sign up in advance is required. The drop-off program for children in grades K-5 runs from 4:00 to 5:15 PM.  $8 members, $18 non-members.
