Carnivore, Omnivore, Locavore! Who eats what for dinner? Join SM&NC education staff as we discover what’s on the dinner menu for our farm animals, otters, turtles and even us! We’ll explore the menus of and help to feed some of our feathery and furry friends on the farm, give a special treat to the otters and even discover where our food comes from by working in our own organic vegetable garden! This unique, interactive program will feature hands-on experiences with live animals, cooking with local food, and chances to help harvest (and taste) some of the end-of-season produce. This class is a must for your budding farmer or gardener. Limited to 12 children for a great small group experience, so register early! To register, call 203.977.6515.
