12 noon. Join volunteers from the Mill River Wetland Committee to learn about the ecology of our local river basin system. Come take part in a sampling of the hands-on learning that students in grades 3-6 across Fairfield experience through the MRWC's River-lab program. At the Mill River, we will make a model river and observe the different habitat areas created by the work of the river. At the Ash Creek estuary, we will investigate the unique conditions of an estuary and examine the impact of human activity on the delicate balance of coastal areas. The Color Run Bridgeport

By the end of The Color Run, you'll look like you finally reached the rainbow and busted through it like a ribbon at the end of a race. You'll be covered in colors. This kaleidoscopic 5K was established in 2011 and takes place in numerous cities throughout the world. The event isn't timed so there's no pressure. Run, laugh, listen to music, dance and be doused with colors along the way. The start-line window will open at 10:00 AM with waves going every few minutes! Make sure you plan your day with plenty of time. At The Color Run, the start line is its own pre-race party with music, dancing, warmup stretching and giveaways!
