Greenwich the Last Taste of Summer Craft Beer Fest

Brews and pours from more than 30 of Connecticut's finest craft breweries including: Armada Brewing, Ballast Point, Charter Oak Brewery, Lock City Brewing Company, New England Cider, New Belgium Brewing, Owls Brew Raddler, Shiner, Spiked Seltzer, Stony Creek, Tito's Vodka and Thimble Island and more to come! Delicious food from local food trucks: Bobby Q's, Cowabunga, Lobster Craft, Melt Mobile, and Wendy's Weenies. Live Music: The event will have awesome live music throughout the afternoon. The line up includes: the cool summer steel drum sound of the Wilton Steel Community Band, blues and rock 'n roll from The Clams, and Sacred Fire, a Santana tribute band. Scenic views of Greenwich Harbor, lawn games and an interesting array of interesting exhibits! General admission is from 1pm until 4:30pm.VIP Gate opens at 12pm. Tickets: General Admission: $40 ($35 before August 31). VIP: $75 ($65 before August 31) The VIP ticket offers entrance to VIP tent which will serve specialty brews and pours not available in other areas of the festival.

Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk Marine Life Study Cruises

1 pm - 3:30 pm. Study marine biodiversity from the water's surface down to the bottom for a first-hand understanding of Long Island Sound's interdependent marine life. Participants utilize such sampling techniques as a plankton tow, biodredge, mud grab and otter trawl that may bring up fish, crabs, lobsters, sea stars and more. A video microscope and touch tank on board enhance observations.
