12 - 4 pm. The Fairfield Museum and History Center, in partnership with the Town of Fairfield, are presenting the 2nd Annual "Halloween on the Green" on Sunday, October 29 from 12pm-4pm behind the Fairfield Museum and next to the Historic Town Green at the corner of Beach and Old Post Roads. This family event will feature trick-or-treating, giveaways, displays in the historic buildings, food trucks, a bounce house, fun games and activities! Exciting displays will be set up in the Victorian Cottage, Sun Tavern and Old Academy Schoolhouse! Put on your costume and prepare for fantastical fun! Food Truck Alley!

New Canaan Halloween Parade

12 pm. Booths open and 1 p.m. the parade starts. Participate in one of New Canaan's most popular events is the Annual Halloween Parade. Leading the parade will be the Old Faithful Antique Fire Truck and the cast of NCHS's Production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. This event is sponsored by the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce. Ghosts, goblins, fairy princesses, superheroes, children of all ages and their dogs are invited to participate. Grandparents and residents are invited to cheer on the marchers and take lots of pictures of the various, sometimes wholly original, characters. All marchers gather in the Park Street parking lot at noon to prepare.
