Saturday, April 5 starting at 11:30am. Rain Date: Sunday, April 6 at Noon. The annual Kite Flying Festival returns to Greenwich point Beach each spring in April. The Festival is sponsored by the Greenwich Arts Council and the Town Department of Parks and Recreation. Participants are encouraged to bring kites of all shapes and sizes, made of plastic, paper or fabric, and may join in a free raffle for gift certificates to Smart Kids Toys. Special award ribbons are given to all high fliers.
