Celebrate National Trails Day and explore the world of living things usually considered icky and yucky and discover how amazing they really are! Visit the "Rotten Log Hotel" to discover the worms, fungi, and other decomposers that help to make soil, search for snakes and salamanders in our stream beds and vernal pools, and learn how icky signs like scat can tell us who has been on the trails.
