One of our otter keepers will introduce you to the North American River Otter though a variety of hands-on activities and demonstrations. Then at 1 pm, it's time to move on the otter observation deck to watch as Robert and Edith are fed their favorite meal of the day...lunch! Norwalk Concert and Car Show

With Long Island Sound as a backdrop, area residents can enjoy free musical entertainment for all ages throughout the summer. Just pack a picnic and comfortable seating then head for Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk for the First County Bank Summer Concert Series. This year, tribute bands will be featured during the weekly concerts on Wednesday evenings (rain date is the following night). A $5.00 parking fee is charged for cars without a Norwalk beach sticker.  A classic car show begins at 6:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. Dreamin' – This band features vocalists Joey Bennett, Douglas Dorsey, Timmy Hayes, Tommy Talercio and Richard "Cookie" Thomas. These performers have opened for headlining acts from the 50s, 60s and 70s that include Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Little Anthony, AWB and the Flamingos.  They continue to perform on the Oldies Rock and Roll circuit, as well as at concerts and special events, and have two CDs, "Dreamin' Through the Years" and "Dreamin' at Christmas."

Performing Live at the JCC! The JCC is delighted to welcome the Israel Scouts (Tzofim) Friendship Caravan for their first visit to Stamford. Consisting of five male and five female Israel Scouts who are entering their senior year of high school, the Caravans travel throughout North America each summer as emissaries, sharing their lives in Israel through song, dance and story. The Friendship Caravan performance at the Stamford JCC will provide you and your family with a wonderful opportunity to connect with Israel through these talented young performers. Don’t miss it! Programs will feature both staff-led and self-guided activities for all ages. Activities will run throughout the time period, so join us anytime to extend and enhance your SM&NC experience.
