Wine and chocolate is a delightful combination. Ladies who gather at the Wilton Historical Society on February 11 will have an opportunity to try their hand at making molded chocolates for Valentine's Day: the evening will be even more enjoyable as wine and other beverages will be served. Beautiful, professional candies will be made in approximately one hour, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. The artisanal chocolate provided is very high quality and worthy of being savored by discerning sweethearts, and will make a lovely gift for that special someone. A variety of mold shapes, including hearts and flowers, will be used.

Avon Theatre Film Center hosts French Conematheque: HIROSHIMA MON AMOUR on Thursday February 12, 2015 -7:30PM. Directed By: Alain Resnais.  The late Alain Resnais’ HIROSHIMA MON AMOUR, a pillar of the French New Wave (long unavailable for exhibition in the United States due to rights issues) will be released by Rialto Pictures in a spectacular new 4K restoration. The 1959 film, an official selection of this year’s New York Film Festival, will open theatrically October 17 in New York City at The Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, and in Los Angeles at Laemmle’s Royal Theatre and other select locations. A national rollout will follow.Starring: Emmanuelle Riva, Eiji Okada, Stella Dallas.

The work is then printed with the assistance of the instructor. Subsequent reworked impressions can also be pulled to achieve depth of color. Or as Degas frequently did, a second paler or ghost impression can also be printed and used as ground for later pastel additions
