11 am – 4 pm on the Wilton Town Green and in the Wilton Library This event showcases individuals, non-profit organizations, and businesses that offer ideas or products that are in keeping with our mission of educating our community in achieving a culture of conservation and environmental sustainability. Exciting highlights for the Festival include a visit from Atka, the Wolf Conservation Center's ambassador wolf, sponsored by Deloitte, as well as the Westport Electric Car Club Rally and a variety of live music throughout the day.

Second Annual Plug-in Electric Vehicle Rally - WECC EV RALLY 2014

The club will host our second annual plug-in electric vehicle rally, called the WECC EV RALLY 2014, on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. John Shuck will again be our Rally Master. The rally will start and end at the eastbound side of the Westport Saugatuck railroad station. Registration will be at 9 am and the rally will start at 10 am. The fee for entrance will be $50 to be paid in advance.

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join us for our spring Girl Scout Day! Visit our vernal pools to discover the invertebrates and amphibians that call them home. Learn how animals move through water and use it in their daily lives. Meet our river otters and give them a treat. We'll also learn about our local watersheds and how to protect them, and even make our own watercolors. Recommended for Daisy and Brownie scouts, but Juniors are welcome. Registration may be made by troop or individual scout.

Woodcock Nature Center 2014 5K Race / Walk and Kids’ Fun Run

The 5K course is almost entirely run on our trails for more fun and adventure. It will be approximately 90% trail with a mix of groomed trails, rugged trails and narrow bridges/boardwalks. The challenging terrain will highlight the diversity and beauty of our property. Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are welcome. This trail is NOT stroller friendly. 7:30-8:30 - Registration, Kids Fun Run: 8:30, 5K Race/Walk: 9. 5K - Registration fee: $25 pre-registration, $30 day of race, $15 for those 13 and under.  Kids Fun Run: $10.
