Friday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm. 3 day weekend workshop, limited to 8. This workshop is for artists who want to learn how to create alternatives to straight digital prints. By combining readily available support materials with acrylic paints and inkjet mediums, participants will learn how to create unique custom surfaces for direct inkjet printing. Learn step-by-step pigment transfer print techniques that can be applied to wood, canvas, collage, metal and acrylic. Emphasis is on exploration and experimentation with integrative processes. Participants will be trained in direct inkjet printing, pigment transfer prints, layering of digital and analog processes and the use of common materials to create unique prints from digital images.
