Norwalk Symphony Hosts Messiah Sing-Along & Holiday Extravaganza

The Norwalk Symphony on December 6, 2014 at 5PM at the Norwalk City Hall repeats last year's successful return to a community tradition by presenting one of the great classics of the holiday season: the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah.  In true sing-along fashion, the audience will be the chorus!  Our conductor, Jonathan Yates, will turn around and conduct the audience in what promises to be an incredible outpouring of music-making. Amelia Watkins-soprano, Audrey Babcock-mezzo-soprano (our Carmen from the May concert), Brian Cheney-tenor (sang Don Jose'), and Matthew Burns-bass/baritone will sing the arias we all know and love. The concert will be rounded out with the soloists and audience members singing holiday carols with orchestra accompaniment.
