Tour of Reeves-Reed Aboretum & Greenwood Gardens--Thursday, May 8. 2014 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. The Reeves-Reed Arboretum has formal gardens including the Keller Azalea Garden, Rock Garden &100 year old Wisner House. Originally designed by a partner of Frederick Law Olmstead in 1889 & recently enhanced using design trends of the early 20th Century. Greenwood Gardens has been restored & opened to the public in 2013.  A preservation project has brought the gardens to life. The original gardens were commissioned in 1912 and subsequent owners added formal Italianate gardens with colorful tiles and rustic stone tea houses. Lunch at Basilico's Italian Restaurant.
