9 am - 4 pm.Join us for an all day tour led by Ed Hynes, CFA In the spring of 1777 the British landed a force of 2,000 men on Compo Beach with the goal of confiscating or destroying the Patriot's supply of tents and other provisions stashed in Danbury. The tour will follow in the footsteps of the British Soldiers as they land at Compo Beach and march overnight to Danbury. We will then follow them to the Battle of Ridgefield; their daring deception of Arnold at Old Hill; and the final battle at Compo Hill. he fee for this tour is $75 and includes a boxed lunch. Outdoor Adventures: Wild Weasels Sunday, May 7, 4 - 5:30 pm Explore the world of our native weasels and have an opportunity to interact with our own wild weasels, ferrets and otters. We'll start with a short show on Connecticut's weasel species, from fishers to ermine, and then break up into two groups to have a chance to create enrichment for our otters and an obstacle course for our ferrets in Heckscher WILD! The Printmakers' Network of Southern New England is a group of artist/printmakers, educators and award-winning artists. Founded in 1992, local artist/printmakers along with the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, set the organization's mission to advocate traditional printmaking and to provide a resource for regional artists.

Heavenly Notes: St. Mary’s at the Mansion

2-4 pm. In collaboration with the Parish of St. Mary's in Norwalk, CT, Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will feature, Heavenly Notes: St. Mary's at the Mansion, a rare fundraising concert highlighting the church's outstanding choir. Repertoire will feature music from the Victorian and Edwardian eras led by Organist and Choirmaster David Hughes. As described in Florence Mathews' diary, there was a longstanding relationship between St. Mary's and the Mathews family, as the church was central to the life of the many servants who lived and worked at the Mansion during the Edwardian era. Built in 1848, and originally located on Chapel Street in Norwalk, St. Mary's burned to the ground and was replaced by a magnificent Gothic Revival stone church in 1871 on West Avenue, half a mile from the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion. Reservations Required – Limited Seating Admission: $30 (third row and up) -$50 (second row seating), $100 (front row seating) Reception: $10 per person
