Saturdays July 18 - August 22, 12:30 - 1 pm. Ever wonder what lizards like for lunch? Discover the many things our animals like to eat by helping to feed them. Help prepare salads for the tortoises, lizards, and the other fruit and veggie-loving friends in Heckscher WILD! Space for this program is limited to 20 children, ages 5 and up. Interested participants can sign up for a space, as available, in Heckscher WILD! any time after 10 AM each Saturday. Space is first-come, first served. This workshop will cover the basic principles of screenprinting and apply them to the creation of imagery, patterns and textures for covering the exteriors of 3D paper sculptures. Participants will create three-dimensional forms from paper and cardboard and finish the surface with their screenprints. ALL LEVELS
