Tickets to the Dec. 6 concert are $15 and $20 and can be purchased at theklein.org. The young choristers of the Fairfield County Children's Choir will raise their voices in a new program of holiday music called Ring In the New! on Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport. The 3 p.m. concert will include a stirring arrangement of Auld Lang Syne to greet the New Year, and some favorite holiday carols such as The Little Drummer Boy, Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming, A Holly Jolly Christmas and Christmas Time is Here from A Charlie Brown Christmas. A special selection will be a new version of Esa Einai by Shlomo Carlebach, arranged by Jon Noyes, the artistic director of the choir.

Candlelight Open House at Putnam Cottage



The Putnam Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is sponsoring a Candlelight Open House at Putnam Cottage on December 7, 2014 from 4 to 7 PM. There will be Revolutionary soldiers, colonial music, children's crafts, holiday snacks and tours of the Cottage with costumed docents. Putnam Cottage is located at 243 East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. For this event parking is available next door at the Junior League of Greenwich, YWCA, and across the street at Christ Church. There is also parking behind the cottage at First Church of Christ Scientist, 11 Park Place, there is a gate leading to the cottage.
