Taj Mahal Trio and Los Lobos at Klein Memorial Auditorium--Bridgeport

02/19/2011

910 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06605. Phone: 203-259-1036.

On Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 8PM at the Klein Memorial Auditorium a concert with co-billing--Taj Mahal Trio and Los Lobos.  Tickets: $35-$70 in advance--$37/$72 day of show.  Fairfield Theatre Company members: $5-$10 Discount, Doors Open at 7PM. Sure, just one would have been enough, but we want it all.  The man named Henry Saint Clair Fredericks, or Taj Mahal, is bigger than life.  His music combines the souls of all bluesmen who came before him, whether from the Islands, The American South or the countries of Africa and the South Pacific. Taj builds off the sounds, positivity and magic of the blues.  His music is meant to make you move.  Also, the infamous three-time Grammy winning rock/country/Tex-Mex band Los Lobos, the night takes on a strong worldly flavor that will make it impossible to stay seated. Check the website for further information.
