"Witchcraft: a corporeal practice" with past exhibiting artist iele paloumpis is a participatory workshop where we will explore movement, ritual and visualization as pathways toward re-patterning stagnant energy. The event takes place at Franklin Street Works on Saturday April 8 from 3:30 – 6:00 pm. This is a free, public event, and RSVPs help us plan- RSVP to terri@franklinstreetworks.org. Franklin Street Works is hosting the original event "Scribe Empathy: Tools for Compassionate Listening and Visual Transcription" with "Business Witch," Virginia Lee Montgomery on Saturday, April 8th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Wilton HIstorical Society Trade Signs and Dummy Boards Workshop for Kids

11 am - 12:30 pm. Museum Educator Lola Chen will be talking with the children about the various trades and their symbols, and discuss dummy boards. Also known as "Silent Companions" they are two-dimensional wooden figures of people or pets painted to mimic the look of three-dimensional carvings, popular from the 17th through the 19th century. Kids will have an opportunity to create their own dummy board. A snack of sugar and spice muffins is included, which the children will help prepare. Suggested for ages 6 – 12. Stamford Museum and Nature Center 13th Annual Heckscher Farm Egg Hunt

A springtime favorite! Children ages six and younger bring their own baskets and hunt for hundreds of eggs that will be hidden all over Heckscher Farm. The gates to the Farm will open at 10 am, and eggs will be distributed throughout the two-hour event. Once a participant has collected a minimum of five eggs, they can be turned in for a goodie bag. Parents and older siblings are welcome to come along, but please be mindful that the Egg Hunt is for children ages six and younger only.
