Growing from the discovery of the world’s first commercial well for petroleum in Pennsylvania, historian Brian Black discusses America’s love affair with crude oil. The lecture, From Petrolia to Declaring Our Dependence: America’s Emerging Energy Conundrum will be held on November 13, 2013.  The presentation begins at 11:00 A.M. at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, located at295 West Avenue in Norwalk.  To reserve a seat, please contact the Mansion at 203-838-9799, ext. 4 or info@lockwoodmathewsmansion.com.
