Thursday, November 13, 2014 10:00 a.m. Renowned public garden designer Lynden B. Miller will present an inspirational lecture based on 30 years of experience designing urban green space in New York City that public spaces with good year-round plantings can change city life by providing a connection with nature for neighborhoods rich and poor. She will show the befores and afters of various different projects around the city, how they are funded, and what effects they have had on city life in New York.
