7-8:30 pm. When the sun goes down, the nighttime is alive with activity. During a full moon is the ideal time to see signs of night life! We'll explore the Sanctuary and then head indoors for hot cocoa and a visit with an owl! All ages welcome, no strollers please. 7 pm - 9 pm. $50. Cermics Studio. Bring your date and a bottle of champagne and learn how to throw on the potter's wheel. We will start from the raw brown stoneware clay and go over all the basic skills to form the clay into a bowl. After creating the bowl an optional demo will be given in how to alter the shape of the bowl into a heart. Lastly color will be added by using tinted liquid clays called slips. Project will take approximately six weeks to be fired.
