The luncheon will include a discussion led by Certified Advanced Master Gardener Renee Marsh titled...Everything I Need To Know About Gardening I Learned From a Tomato. Tickets are $30 per person. Our Dogwood Juried Crafts will include a wonderful variety of artisans, foods, and fun! All performances take place in the Church Sanctuary, and are free and open to all, check website for times and performers.

When birds migrate between nesting and wintering sites, they don't just stop anywhere; they rely on a handful of resource-rich and strategically located sites where they may double their body weight as they acquire the energy-rich fat stores needed to fly thousands of kilometers across continents and oceans. These places are known as stopover sites. All ages welcome. Walk is free. Breakfast is $10 per person.

Aspetuck Land Trust Hike - A Family Special with the Westport Library and Christines Critters

10:30 - 12:30. Voted one of the Top 50 Playgrounds in the U.S. by Early Childhood Education Come outside and play! Bring the whole family to Aspetuck Land Trusts Natural Playground. Special guest Lynne Perrigo, a Childrens Librarian at the Westport Library, will be there along with David Brant and Christine Peyreigne. There will be adult conversation about getting children outside for some unstructured natural play with David. Lynn will lead the children in play at the natural playground. Christine Peyreigne, a federally licensed falconer, wildlife rehabilitator and wildlife educator will introduce event participants to raptors (think hawks and eagles) and a variety of live reptiles and amphibians. It's Mothers Day weekend so surprise Mom with a beautiful plant or flower. We have a wide variety of hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetable plants for sale. May 13 from 9 am - 3 pm. May 14 from 10 am - 2 pm. Annuals, garden vegetables, hanging baskets, perennials, planters. ll proceeds go to benefit the animals impounded at the shelter.
