Each year, 12 designers are invited to create 6' x 8' vignettes. These mini-rooms (8-foot ceilings and three walls) are staged in the library and great hall of the historic, stone, Gothic Revival style Southport Congregational Church in Southport, CT. RWAV is unique in that it is not a showcase in the traditional sense. It is a sound bite version of a designer show house. The designers are challenged to get an idea across in a small amount of space. ROOMS with a VIEW is open to the public on Friday, Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. 30 vendors from around the country who are selling their crafts, antiques and decorative accessories. A Marketplace Café, as well as other exciting events, are planned to fill out the weekend.

Weston Historical Society Memories of World War II and Collector Ken Boughton

On this 75th anniversary of the start of the Second World War, the Weston Historical Society is proud to present Memories of World War II – an exhibition celebrating our town's contributions to the war. Here we bring together a wide range of artifacts, photographs, armaments, vehicles and memories of that War, many of them from fellow Weston residents and their families. The exhibition displays a wide range of personal memorabilia that ties Weston residents, past and present, directly to the conflict. Memories of World War II will be open to the public on Sundays from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m
