His new book, TOMORROW'S GARDEN, highlights 14 breathtaking gardens that showcase his belief that gardens should be part of an interconnected whole with the surrounding environment - with an eye toward water usage, local ecology, and preservation of resource. Greenwich Historical Society Hosts Lecture by Phillip Watson, Landscape Designer

On Friday, May 20, 2011 the Greenwich Historical Society will host Phillip Watson, Landscape Designer and renowned horticuturalist and author.  More garden party than lecture the event will begin at 11:30AM with an informal gathering in gardens designed by Mr. Watson, followed by a talk at 12:30PM based on his latest book, Pleasure Gardens.  A scrumptious lunch catered by Rebeccas will follow at 1PM.  Tickets are avialable at $125 with proceeds to support the Greenwich Historical Society.Check the website for further information.
