The overwhelming life and times of a popular television weatherman Barry ZeVan are revealed in his new book, My Life Among the Giants, A Memoir: Thank you, Jerry Stiller ...for urging me to write this book on Sunday, July 17 at The Barnum Museum in Bridgeport beginning at 2 p.m. Attend this special presentation and learn about his life growing up in Pittsburgh PA and New York City as a child actor and singer on stage and national television. ZeVan was also the highest-rated television personality in the Twin Cities, Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas where he lived, worked and had significant friendships with hundreds of celebrities.  A recommended donation for the event is $5 and as always admission is free for Museum members. This program is not recommended for young children.

Music at the Barn outdoor program returns this summer after a successful launch last year. This summer's series of four Music at the Barn concerts will be held at the Weston Historical Society's Coley Homestead, 104 Weston Road. No reservations are required. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, favorite food and beverage, and enjoy the entertainment. In the event of rain, come anyway! We will move the program into the barn. Admission is $5 per member, $10 per member family (2 adults and all kids under 18), $10 per nonmember, and $20 per non-member family (2 adults and all kids under 18). All concerts 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.

You'll get a wristband that gives you three slides during the wave time you choose. You'll also receive a tube, a mouth guard, and a drawstring bag. When purchasing your ticket you will select one of the following wave times so you can get your slides without waiting in line all day - 9:00am - 2:00pm - 2:00pm - 7:00pm This is a full day block party so come early, or stay late, to participate in all the other activites being held at the event.9 am - 2 pm and 2 pm - 7 pm. Slide the City, a fun-filled 1,000-foot water slide is a family friendly slip-and-slide water party event.
