A demonstration and workshop on the ancient art of Ikebana conducted by Barb Kaytes and Frances Wilson. In the morning session they will present an overview of the Sogetsu discipline. Discover how maple syrup was made in the past and how we use our modern evaporator today to make this sweet treat. Help to collect sap and learn how we tap our maple trees. Learn about the science of snow in our Weather Wise class and make your own snow too! Discover how our local animals prepare for winter and discover what winter owls are eating to prepare for spring as we dissect owl pellets. Limited to 20 students per group.
