The exhibition, explores, among other things, how dissatisfaction with the American Dream can be expressed and includes works by artists: Alex Bag, Michael Blake, Nayland Blake, Jen DeNike, Jonah Freeman & Justin Lowe, Rashid Johnson, Adam McEwen, Rodney McMillian, Tameka Norris, Cheryl Pope, Mikel Rouse, and Melissa Vandenberg. Monroe Historical Society Stevenson Dam and World Armistice Day

2 pm. A presentation of Rare  Images from the early days of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey a special presentation by Dick Moore. Dick Moore is a noted historian and collector of magic lanterns. He will present an exciting, rare and unique show featuring images from magic lanterns that will showcase vivid and breathtaking views of early circus spectaculars. Magic Lanterns are descended from the ancient camera obscura and are the equivalent to today's PowerPoint presentations. The program will offer a wondrous, magical opportunity to step back in time and experience the thrill of acrobats and performers of bygone entertainment times. As part of Moore's extensive collection, he has amassed hundreds of historically significant lantern slides from the US, UK and France dating back to the 1860s. He is a member and past president of the Magic Lantern Society of the United States and Canada and a member of the Magic Lantern Society in the UK. He is also a member of the Circus Historical Society and Circus Fans of America.
