Woodcock Nature Center Hosts Arbor Day and Earth Day Event--Wilton

On Sunday, April 29 from 2-4 pm, come to Woodcock Nature Center to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day, go for a hike with Henryk and photograph the beautiful trees of North Wilton with noted nature photographer Daryl Hawk. No registration required!Three walks are planned for the afternoon: a tree walk at 2:30 pm, led by Woodcock's Henryk Teraszkiewicz; a photography walk with Daryl Hawk at 3:00; and another focusing on invasive plants at 3:30 with David Havens from the science department at St. Luke's in New Canaan. Photograph whatever you see on your walk, and submit your best to the Wilton Garden Club's photography contest. This event is being organized by the Norwalk River Watershed Association, the Wilton Tree Committee and Woodcock Nature Center. Exhibitors include Wilton Go Green, the Norwalk River Watershed Association, Neighbor2Neighbor and the Wilton Garden Club.
