Come enjoy Yankee Doodle Fair, riding into Westport June 15th through the 18th, downtown on the grounds of the Westport Woman's Club at 44 Imperial Avenue. FAIR HOURS: Thursday & Friday 6 pm-10 pm; Saturday 1 pm-10 pm; Sunday 1 pm-5 pm
Bring Dad, bring a friend, and bring the family! Yankee Doodle Fair is Westport's last remaining, family-oriented, carnival style event. Ride the amusement rides and enjoy traditional Fair events including: International Food Court, Touch-A-Boat, New Canaan Psychic, Face Painting, Sand Art, Suzuki School of Music Performance, Westport Urgent Care Equipment Demo, Raffle, Take-A-Chance Drawing, Bake Sale, Curio Cottage Thrift Shop, Indoor Café, and more.
Free admission. Pay-one-price unlimited rides wristbands available every day and night! Ride in the rain! Rides and the Fair will only close in severe weather. No dogs please. All Fair proceeds benefit local charities and college scholarships for Staples H.S. students.

Architect Thomas Phifer will discuss his work and current projects, including a new museum for the Glenstone Foundation in Maryland and the restoration of Philip Johnson's thesis house at Harvard University, with Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Paul Goldberger. Submit your favorite photo of the Zoo, past or present of an animal, exhibit or any zoo setting. Winners will have their photos displayed and on the Zoo website. Winners will receive a free Zoo membership for a year.

Venture out for a rare close-up look at five historic lighthouses on Long Island Sound! Participants aboard R/V Spirit of the Sound will make passes by five century-old beacons: Peck Ledge, Greens Ledge and Sheffield Island lighthouses in Norwalk, Penfield Reef Lighthouse in Fairfield and Stratford Shoal (Middle Ground) Light. All the lighthouses are on the National Register of Historic Places. The 5-hour cruise departs at 10 a.m. Tickets are $70 ($60 for Aquarium members). Advance purchase is required.
