The 30th Annual Halloween Parade New Canaan

12:00pm -Fun Begines in the Park Street Lot. 1:00pm - Parade Line Up in the Park Street Lot. 1:30pm - Parade Begins! This great event begins at 12pm, rain or shine, with all marchers gathering in the Park Street parking lot to prepare. Goodie bags will be given out until we run out! The parade will kick off at 1:30pm from the parking lot proceeding to the corner of Park & Elm, then down Elm Street to Main Street, and loop back up Elm Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic for the event.

Donations gratefully accepted.Produced by Lisa Shufro and directed by John Hartwell,  the film traces the first sixty years of League of Women Voters in Westport, examining both the impact of the League on the Town and the empowerment of women through the League.  Topics covered include the formation of the Town charter and RTM, the gradual movement of League members into positions of power in local government, and the influence of the League during controversies such as Project Concern.  After the showing the filmmakers will host a Q&A.
